When leaving your home town please remember these few necessities to make your trip a more pleasurable one. When traveling please remember DO NOT pack your passport. You should check in with your airline two hours prior to departure. Be sure to carry your passport and airline tickets with you. Your originating airline baggage agent will be able to check your luggage through to Paris for connection flights. Check the baggage claim tags the airline places on your luggage to make sure the code reads "CDG" or "ORLY", "NCE" or "BCN" for the final destination! If it reads any other code, stop the ticket agent or sky cap and correct it. Remember, you will not be able to board your international flight without your Passport in hand. Because of air schedules, most participants will be making one or two plane changes so double check your luggage claim check to make sure it states the proper code. We also suggest you have a carry on piece of luggage to pack all medication, toiletries, and one day's change of clothes. All medications must be in their original containers with the appropriate description on the container. Please always check the latest restrictions for carry on liquids and perishables. Travel comfortably since your overseas flight is long. All domestic European flights are non-smoking. You are limited to checked depending on the carrier your choose. Check carrier web site for limitations to avoid additional weight fees. Air France has a weight limitation of 70 pounds. On arrival in Paris be sure to check your suitcases for any damage. All claims must be filed before leaving the Airport. Please see the airline staff inside the baggage claim area for assistance with damaged or missing luggage when Paris Prelude, VIP Riviera Service or Barcelona Prelude meet and greet are not hired to assist you.
